’Twas the night before school, and all through the town, The backpacks were packed and the sun had gone down. The classrooms were ready, the hallways were bright, As Norsemen prepared for their first-day delight! So set those alarms and get plenty of rest— Tomorrow begins, and we’re ready to do our best!

Hot diggity dog! We’re ready for Back to School Night! We take hot dogs seriously around here - just take a look at the admins’ cars… fully stocked with dogs and ready to feed the crowd! Come meet your teachers, check out the school, and then stick around for the party! We’ll have hot dogs, bounce houses, and so much more! Back to School Night: 5:00 PM Party: 6:00 PM

First faculty meeting of the year! Great to have the Norsemen crew back together and ready for an awesome year at NDJH. Let’s do this!

Our Big Back to School Bash is Next Tuesday, August 18th! The fun starts at 5 PM inside North Davis. Students and parents can meet teachers in their classrooms and get excited about an upcoming year of learning. Then at 6 PM until 7:30, the party moves outside. Families can enjoy hot dogs, chips, bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, caricature artists, over 40 community and district partners, and more. We're excited to see everyone there!

Huge shoutout to our Facility Manager, Nathanial! Thank you for your hard work and for everything you do to keep North Davis Jr. High running smoothly. We appreciate you!

New Norsemen day was a huge success! It was so great to see all the incoming 7th graders!

Join Davis Reads 45 this summer! Students are challenged to read for 45 days, earning prizes every 5 days and a special end-of-summer event for those who complete the challenge. Pick up books during summer library hours. Families should check with their local elementary school for specific days and times. Regular summer reading helps prevent learning loss and supports continued academic growth. Contact your school or library to get started!
