North Davis Junior High School, Davis School District and Utah State Law requires that students attend regularly and that parents bear considerable responsibility in helping to ensure that students are in school when they are required to be there.
The guidelines for student attendance at NDJH Jr. High are as follows:
All absences must be verified within three days upon the student’s return to school.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that all absences are verified through the Main Office. Please do one of the following:
Reply to the email that has been sent to you from the School District.
Email the Attendance Secretary at sowen@dsdmail.net Please include your students name, date of absence and the reason for the absence.
In person - Have a parent or guardian come to the Office in person.

In order to check a student out of school, parents or guardians please do one of the following:
Send a signed note with your child and turn it into the Office
Come into the Office and check your student out
NO PHONE CALLS will be accepted to check your student out from school.
To excuse your student for being late to school, parents or guardians please do one of the following:
Send a signed note with your student to the Office
